HOW TO USE SILVER JEWELRY CLEANING KIT

STEP ONE: CLEANSE

Soak in cleanser for one minute. Rinse jewelry carefully, blot dry. Repeat as needed.

Can I use this to clean silver plated jewelry?

We don’t recommend this product for cleaning plated metals. Try the Delicate Jewelry Cleaner to clean silver plated, gold plated, or rhodium plated jewelry.

What is tarnish?

Tarnish is a chemical reaction that happens between a metal and oxygen or sulfer dioxide. A thin, dark layer of corrosion appears over the metal.

Can I use this to clean silver jewelry that has set gemstones?

This product is designed to clean only sterling silver and is not suitable for gemstones or other metals. Try the Delicate Jewelry Cleaner to clean silver jewelry with gemstones or mixed metals.

Can I reuse the Gold & Silver Polishing Cloth?

The cloth is large enough to use each side multiple times. As you remove tarnish and clean, the dirt and discoloration will rub off onto the cloth. We don’t recommend washing the Polishing Cloth or cleaning in a washing machine, as this will remove the tarnish removing formula.
